ART EVENT TO SHOWCASE WORKS OF ARTISTS GIORGIO TUSCANI &
ELIZABETH SHATNER ON SATURDAY, MARCH 29, 2008
STUDIO CITY, CA – MARCH 24, 2008 — This upcoming art event, showcasing the artwork of
Giorgio Tuscani and Elizabeth Shatner (Mrs. William Shatner), scheduled for March 29th, 2008
at the Palazzo Di Songi estate at 11947 Iredell Street, Studio City, CA is anticipated to draw
collectors, media and prominent artists.
Originally from Verona, Italy, Giorgio Tuscani’s art strongly evokes his inspiration by the legends
such as Leonardi Da Vinci, Rubens, Titian and Caravaggio. “These are the masters who have most
influenced my technique and my art most,” states Mr. Tuscani.
Mr. Tuscani’s striking work is helping to usher in a “New Renaissance” and reveals a talent honed
over years of heartfelt painting. His first public art exhibition last fall was a huge success and the
recent sale of his piece ‘Only One Illuminates My Soul’ for $75,000 emphasizes his mastery of his art.
Mrs. Shatner, wife of actor William Shatner, is a self-taught photographer whose “Florosophy”
exposes flora in it’s most natural and vivid state. She refers to her work as “Visual Meditation” and
relies on her eye, the beauty of nature’s art and timing to capture the stunningly real imagery within
the natural world. “Every flower has a story to tell and through my art I hope to allow the world to see
the pages of the tale unfold before their eyes. I think about the cycle of life, laws of attraction and the
beauty of perfection of those living things in their prime,” states Mrs. Shatner.
Coming from a background as a professional equine trainer and judge has given Elizabeth a keen eye
and detailed vision. It has allowed her to see further, beyond the basic wonder of nature to the intricate
details that a true artist brings to life.
The show, slated for Saturday, March 29th at Palazzo di Songi, the showplace home of Danny
Gerardi and Giorgio Tuscani in Studio City, California.
